Thank You!!

Words cannot adequately describe how grateful we are to the more than 450 alumni and special guests who made our 25th Anniversary event the party of a lifetime. It was an evening of reconnecting with classmates and fellow alums and celebrating the organization that brought us all together.

There were so many alums and others who made the event possible. It goes without saying that without their dedication and efforts, none of this would have been possible.

First to an extraordinary committee who met for two years and 10 days planning every detail; we are forever in your debt, starting with the intrepid co-chairs Danielle Lares-Bouharoun and Jeff Walker and including Lainie Allbee, Shelia Shipley Biddy, Carey Nelson Burch, Melinda Gales, Suzanne Gordon, Jeff Green, Liz Kiley, Mark Mason, Rick Murray, Denise Nichols, Neil Spielberg and Lane Wilson.

To our sponsors: CMA, City National Bank, Streamsound Records, Loeb & Loeb, SESAC, WME, Wiatr and Associates, Feld Entertainment, BMI, Flood Bumstead McCready & McCarthy, All Access, The Kella Stephenson Company, Avenue Bank, Country Aircheck, Radio Music License Committee, CAA, Music Row, BMG/Chrysalis, I.R.S. Nashville, G7 Entertainment, Billboard, Nielsen, Patron, Regions Bank, MOO-TV/MOO Creative and Danielle Lares-Bouharoun and Bouharoun Fine Wines. Without their generosity, we would have been unable to stage an event worthy of the occasion.

To Anita Hogin (’96) and Hugh Howser who worked their magic with the décor and all the minute details. You are simply the best. (Did you catch the Vegas-like LM sign as you entered??).

To an army of volunteers who kept the party running smoothly, we couldn’t have done it without them.

To the Class Agents – thank you for helping to get the word out to your classmates.

Finally, to the 12 members of the Founding Council whose vision set us on this journey 25 years ago. They are: the late Rick Blackburn, Tony Brown, Tom Collins, Bill Denny, the late Dale Franklin, Joe Galante, Bruce Hinton, Bill Ivey, Joe Moscheo, Jim Ed Norman, Tandy Rice, and Roger Sovine.  What a thrill it was to have nine of the original founders with us last night.

And a word of congratulations to Cliff O’Sullivan who was last seen riding the new green bike he won, courtesy of Regions Bank somewhere down McGavock Street.

And to those of you who could not make the party of the quarter-century, you were missed!

As many of you reminded us last night, it was a moment to wave the Leadership Music banner as proud alums, to toast friends old and new and to remember that we are one community. We all made new memories we will treasure until the next time we gather as the Leadership Music family.
